You can go to a gay campground anytime and have a blast. There are always great people around to meet, places to wander and explore, and everything else that you would expect from a campground or LGBT resort.
Which theme weekend should you choose? Themes only define the activities, but don’t define the people who will be there. You’ll have a great time no matter what which you choose!
The Woods Campground
Every week, most gay campgrounds have theme weekends and lots of parties to go along with them. You can choose to go and not partake in any of the parties, but if you want to, here’s what’s happening this week in gay camping around the country:
SIRenity Farms
Sullivan, MO
(near St Louis, and convenient for everyone in Chicago)
SIRenity Farms is our favorite campground in the Midwest, and its most amazing feature is some of the nicest guys you will ever meet! Friendly and welcoming, SIRenity sells out fast, so make your reservation now.
Make sure to stop and chat with the owners, Dennis and Michael, while you enjoy the pool, hot tub, lake, and 32 lush acres. Tell them we say hi! SIRenity is a welcoming campground for all men, is clothing-optional in most areas, and is BYOB.
Pride Weekend Saturday 6/10/22- Hangout At The Farm
The Pride celebrations at SIRenity Farms begin bright and early, with an 8am Erotic Reading with Coffee, 9am Orion’s Clothing-Optional Yoga, and 10am Donuts & Dobbers Brunch Bingo.
Spend Saturday afternoon relaxing poolside with Shenanigans and Prizes, walk the trails and around the pond, or go walk site to site and vote for Best Rainbow and Best Camper Park Decor.
At 7pm, the Pride Costume Contest kicks off with the Golf Cart Glow Parade. If you haven’t experienced the amazing golf carts at gay campgrounds, just picture “Burning Man meets Trailer Park meets San Fran Gay Bookstore” and all on wheels!
Then, at 9pm the Awards for Contests concludes with a Fireworks Display and then at 10pm NclusionPlus Studs On Stage with Go-Go Dancers Poolside. There will also be lots of goodies from Passions Adult Boutique, and find out more about the upcoming Father’s Day “Oh Daddy!” Weekend.

Every weekend is sold out at The Woods, so give a call to see if there are any last-minute openings, and come celebrate Pride at The Woods. Everyone of age is welcome at The Woods and remember to BYOB for your drinks between meals at the on-site restaurant.
Friday 6/10/22 – Pride at The Woods
Kick-off your weekend in style at the 6pm Pride Tie Dye Party. Everything is included, just BYO white garment. Then catch a 7pm performance from incredible vocalist Pamela Stanley on the Lanai, and meet everyone in the dance club at 10pm for the LGBTQIA+ Ultra Glam Diva Dance Party.
Saturday 6/11/22 – Pride at The Woods
At 10am, start your Pride Saturday with Vinyasa Flow Yoga with Dan, and make sure to stop by the Novus Medical Services bus anytime from 10am-3pm for free and confidential HIV and STI testing and your Recovery Meeting at 10:30am. There’s volleyball all day, and an Arts & Crafts Show at 12n.
The Big Gay Pool Party and Pamala Stanley’s T-Dance Party both kick off at 2pm, the Pride Golf Cart Parade at 4pm, the Block Party at 5pm, Drag Show at 8pm, and the Wizard of Oz Dance Party at 9pm.
Sawmill
Dade City, FL
It’s I HEART THE 80S weekend at Sawmill, and the festivities are sure to be a blast at this campground almost big enough to be its own city! Everyone 21+ and vaccinated is welcome at Sawmill. There are restaurants and full bars at the pool and other venues.
CampOut
Geneva, AL
It’s June, which means it is bear season in Alabama! Head deep into the woods for June Care Bears Weekend. It’s for everyone – bears, care bears, and who care about bears.

So head to Relax and Reset Weekend at one of our favorites, Copper Cactus.
