UPDATE: Gay Naked Camping Weekend July 2022 has unfortunately been canceled due to unforeseen circumstances. We have reached out to the hosts for more information and will update when we hear more.

Gay Camping News: Registration is Open for Gay Naked Camping Weekend July 8-10 in Springville, CA

It’s not a gay campground, but it’s still gay camping! There are private outdoor adventure groups for all members of the LGBTQ+ community all over the country who plan their own gay camping trips.

Every type of man is welcome at Gay Naked Camping Weekend in Central California on June 8-10 2022

Taking place July 8, 9, and 10 in Springville, CA, this private group invites you to join for a gay men’s only clothing-optional outdoor adventure weekend.

As we mentioned in a previous Gay Camping News post, the West coast has very limited gay-specific campgrounds. As far as we know at the time of publishing, there is only Bamboo Acres in Oregon and Triangle Recreation Campground in Washington. So, private gay camping weekends like this fill a huge hole LGBTQ+ campers in the entire region.

Located just over the California/Oregon border in Talent, OR, Bamboo Acres has RV rentals and spots for trailers and tent camping.

Campground and Facilities

The weekend takes place at a private camping retreat in Springville, CA. Located in Tulare County, it is a 3 hour drive north of LA and 4.5 hours south of San Francisco.

This is a private nature reserve called Wildplaces, run by a gay couple Mehmet and Xico. The Land is within the Tule Nation territory, in the foothills of the Sierra Nevada Mountains. This 12-acre private homestead is located on both sides of the Tule River at about 1200ft in the Blue Oak Woodland, and is directly adjacent to the Sequoia National Forest.

The land is secure and safe for naked living.

A gorgeous, private, and truly special property with an artistic and spiritual vibe.

Conclusion

We are psyched to see more gay camping options in addition to gay campgrounds. Groups like this are a way to have an amazing outdoor adventure for the weekend, meet new friends, and learn about yourself. If you prefer a bit more of a resort-style camping experience, this probably isn’t the trip for you, but search for other outdoor adventure groups that might be more your style.
